Tiled Roofs

Tiled Roofs

Tiled roofs can be found on buildings of all ages as tiles were commonly used to replace slate during renovations from 1960 onwards. Concrete tiled roofs erected from 1980 onwards are likely to be coming to the end of their lifespan and may well need re-tiling. We can advise on the maintenance or replacement of a tiled roof and explain the various options available to you.

Slate Roofs

Slate Roofs

We have completed many slate roofing projects including many larger commercial roofs. Slate roofs have lasted many years, giving excellent long-term value. Slates can be specified in many sizes, texture and effects, complimenting the appearance of any building. As with all of our work, our slate roofs are guaranteed giving you peace of mind that you will be satisfied with both the quality of materials and our workmanship.

EPDM Rubber Roofing

EPDM Rubber Roofing

EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane. Often more suitable than a traditional felt roof we provide a comprehensive guarantee on all EPDM roofs we install.

Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP)

Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP)

GRP which stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic is a material made from a polyester resin, which is reinforced by strands of glass fibres to form a GRP laminate. GRP is a very popular material as it is not only very strong but also surprisingly light. We can design, specify and install a GRP roof to suit your personal requirements.

Roof Repairs

Roof Repairs

Whether your roof is in need of repair or replacement, we can provide honest advice on the most effective way of keeping your property watertight. From a single tile to more complex repairs, we offer a professional service and guarantee all of our work.

Fascias and Gutters

Fascias and Gutters

Most pitched roofs are fitted with fascia boards, which are attached onto the roof rafters, hiding them from view. Roofs and roof timbers overhang the walls of a house. Soffits are fitted on the return between the wall and the edge of the roofline. Wooden fascias and soffits if not maintained regularly can take in moisture from the air, and over time rot or warp. Replacing timber fascias and soffits with UPVC is a common upgrade.
Likewise, guttering can degrade over time and may require maintenance or replacement.
We can supply and install guttering, fascias and soffits in a range of styles and coloured finishes to enhance the look of your property.

Dry Ridge

Dry Ridge

Dry ridge is a method of mechanically fixing ridge tiles or hip ridge tiles to a roof, which differs from the traditional method of using sand and cement mortar. Dry ridge uses stainless steel screws to attach clamps between the joints of every ridge tile, clamping them to the roof. The waterproof joint catches rainfall and disperses it back onto the roof.

Dry Verge

Dry Verge

Dry verge is a simple, secure method of mechanically fixing verge tiles. The system is designed to reduce the risk of wind damage and water penetration.
Dry verge fittings slide or click together from top to bottom, leaving the tile undisturbed, which saves time and cost by reducing the risk of damage to the roof.
